Resurrection Easter

Sunday:

"Sunday" is the "day of rest" of "re-creation", as "Saturday" is the "day of rest" of "creation", for the Jews.

Sunday is celebrated as the "Day of the Lord" by the Christians since the first Sunday after the Sunday of Resurrection... for this reason, when Paul went to preach to the Synagogues went on Saturdays (1Cor.11:11, Act.18:4), but the Christians celebrated the "day of rest" on Sundays (Act.20:7, 1Cor.16:2).

Officially it was declared a "day of obligation" to go to the Temple in 363 (Council of Laodicea).

    Jewish Feasts: "Sabbath" ("Sunday")
