The founder of Christianity is Jesus the "Christ", (the "Messiah" in Hebrew), born in Bethlehem in the year "1" after Christ. He spent most of his life in Nazareth as a humble carpenter, died on a Cross in Jerusalem to pay for the sins of all human raze, resurrected on the third day to give each one of us a "new life", to "live in us", in anyone who believes in Him!. And finally Ascended into Heaven to prepare a great place for us in Heaven

The Work of Jesus Christ while on earth:

Jesus lived 33 years, and what he did during all his life was stated by John the Baptist in Jn.1:29: To be "the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world", as described in Is.53... this was the job of Jesus, "to take away the sin of the world"; to take away all the bad karma of every person in the world, would say the Hindus!; and the method, "being the Lamb of God"... if Jesus would become flesh again, it would not be to make great scientific or economic discoveries, or to undertake great social changes... it would be only "to take away the sin of the world", and he would do it with the same method, "being the Lamb of God".

1- During his first 30 years:

He gave us example to do the will of God, and it took to him 30 years! living a normal humble life, "being obedient to his parents", says Lk.1:51... just "doing the will of the Father" (Matt.6:10, Jn.4:34).  Life of Jesus in Nazareth

2- During his last 3 years:

"He went about doing good, teaching and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, casting out devils and healing all the sick", summarizes Matt.4:23-24 and Acts 10:38...finally, he died on the Cross, Resurrected and Ascended to Heaven.

A- His work "on the Cross":

On the Cross, Jesus redeemed us completely, our "body", "soul" and "spirit", as described in Isaiah 53:4-5:

    1- He redeemed "our body":
Bearing on the Cross our "pain", and the factory of our pain, "our afflictions"... other Bibles translate, our "sufferings" and "infirmities"; or our "diseases" and "infirmities"; or our "sufferings" and "sorrows".

To understand it better: Suppose you want to end with the beer in a city: You have to destroy all the bottles of beer... but it is not enough, you also have to destroy all the factories to make beer!...

Jesus paid not only for pains, but also for the factories to make pains, for our diseases...

    2- He redeemed "our soul":
Paying for "our sins", and for the factory to make sins, for "our rebellions" (our vices or iniquities or bad habits)... some Bibles translate "transgressions" and "iniquities"; or "sins" and "offenses"...

    3- He redeemed "our spirit":
He "made us whole", "we are healed"... other Bibles say, he "reconciled us", or he gave us "piece"...

Cross of the Christian - Value of Suffering - Suffering --  Remedy for Suffering: Faith
Way of the Cross, Eucharistic, for the Millennium

B- His work on "his resurrection":

2- But the Cross was not the end... After His Resurrection Jesus Himself wants to live in us, here, on earth. We were saved from sin to live on earth with the love and joy and peace of Jesus in us, I no longer live, but Christ lives in me (Gal.2:20). A love and joy and peace that nothing and nobody can take away (Rom.8:37-39).
Give thanks with joy to God always and in any circumstance as proclaimed in Eph.5:20 and emphasized in the Preface of every Holy Mass, Indeed it is "just" and "necessary", our "duty" and our "salvation" to give thanks to God always and in all circumstances. There are no more words in the dictionary to emphasize it!
The life of a Christian on earth is a  A Wedding Feast! , as proclaimed in at least 20 quotations in the Bible. In this Wedding Feast each one of us is invited, and not just as any guest, but as the "Bride of the Lamb". This is the message of the Cana wedding feast in John 2, the first miracle of Jesus.
With problems like in Cana, but always with the joy and love and excitement of a bride in her wedding feast. In success or failure, good or bad health, always with the joy and love and peace of Jesus in me that nobody and nothing can take away. (Rom.8:

The essence of Christianity: it is not "to know" about Christ but "to be" another Christ, with Christ in the Christian and the Christian in Christ, in his Mystical Body, in his church... and Christ is God, the Absolute, the real Brahman who became a real human person, not just a hero of an imaginary novel.

Bb- His work in the Apparitions: To convince His disciples He had really resurrected

Apparitions of Jesus after His Resurrection (the 4 Gospels)- Apparitions of Jesus Christ Art Gallery
    The 14 "Stations of Joy"

C- His Work in the Ascension: It tops it all, and it is very important:

Still more: The work of Jesus on earth did not end with the Cross nor with the Resurrection, but with His Ascension to Heaven: He wants us to go to eternal Heaven, like Him!... Christianity is the religion of joy on earth, but still more, in Heaven for one eternity, without the need for any reincarnation, because Jesus paid for absolutely all or sins, all our bad karma.

In Baptism,
1- The "old man" dies, by immersion into water, he is crucified and buried with Christ...
2- And comes out of the water as
a "new man" in Christ, alive to God in Christ Jesus, raised up a "new creature... (Rom.6:4, Colos.2:12).

The Work of Jesus right now:eucaristia-mundo.bmp (11862 bytes)

    The Eucharist:

Right now, the God-man, the Superman Jesus, is still working on earth. He now becomes bread and wine to be the "our daily bread" of Mathew 6:11. And he does it 500,000 times per day, in each Holy Mass all around the world... that's the Superman Jesus, the God-man.
And it is as real as the oxygen we breed, in each holy Host there is the Body, Blood, Soul and divinity of Jesus Christ, the real Superman, the Son of man and God the Son, the God-man

1- Very humble: God Himself becomes now just bread and wine.
With his humility, he is breaking into pieces our pride, as  proclaimed in Psalm 2, 9 You will rule them with an iron scepter.  you will dash them to pieces like pottery."  Yes, the Eucharist is the iron scepter of God.
out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword, proclaims Revelation 1:16... the sword is his love, and the double-edge are his suffering on the Cross and his humility in the Eucharist.

2- Very patient: He is doing it already for 2,000 years. He is waiting for you and me, right now in every Christian Tabernacle in the world. Waiting and waiting, as a real good lover. The Superman Jesus is really in love with you..

3- Suffering much: Because many Christians believe it is nor a reality but just symbol, and others receive the Eucharist as if it were worthy less than a thousand dollars.

4- With great love: And after 2,000 years there are more than 2 billion Christians... and counting

Suffering?
Yes, many problems and sufferings, but with the joy and excitement of a "mother in labor" Jesus tells us in Jn.16:21.
Because Each suffering is to bring up a new life, either in us or in others:

1- In us... because each suffering is like an injection of God to purify us, as proclaimed in Hebrews 12.
2- In others... like the sufferings of redemption of Christ or Mary, of Peter or Paul... Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ's afflictions. (Colos.1:24)... yes, with my cross I am a co-redeemer with Christ, it is my best evangelization, to help others to go to Heaven. An old sick woman is not a burden, but the best treasure of home.
"Suffering" is a great revolution of Jesus in the two mountains:
1- In the Mount of the Beatitudes, proclaiming the "poor happy", the "hunger happy", those who "mourn happy", the "persecuted happy"...
2- At Calvary it was not with words, but with deeds, with his flesh... the greatest success of humankind!...
IT CAN BE DONE... CHRIST AND I, ABSOLUTE MAJORITY!, I can do everything through him who gives me strength.  (Phil.4:13).

He conquered death for us, and gave us a "new life" with Jesus Christ living in us... he did not just restored the "old man", he created a "new man"!, a "new creature"!. (2Cor.5:17, Ef.4:22-24)

Commandments of Jesus:

1- Baptism in his church, 15He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. (Mr.16:15-16)
    2- Preach the Good News:
    - Look at the above quotation again.
    - 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.(Mat.28:19).
    3- Love one another:
Jesus repeats this commandment four times in four ways in his Sermon of the Last Supper of John 13 to 17 http://www.biblia.com/christ/supper.htm
        - 34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (Jn.13:34)
        - 35 By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Jn.13;35).
        - 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (Jn.15:12).
        - 17 This is my command: Love each other.(Jn.15:17).
Actually, we all want to love, all!. But since Adam, none of us can love, because we all love ourselves, and selfishness is exactly the opposite of love. But if Jesus is in me, I am going to love, and not me, but Jesus in me is going to use my hands to give food to the hungry, and my feet to visit the sick, and my brain to teach the truth, and my heart to care and be generous and compassionate… and not me, but Jesus who lives in me, the essence of a Christian! (Gal.2:20, Mt.5:43-48, 25:31-46).
4- The Eucharist, "our daily Bread" in the "Our father" prayer of Mat.6:11.

51I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world."
    52
Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?"
    53
Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him. 57Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. 58This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever."
(Jn.6:51-58).
That's why Faith an the Eucharist are so great, because the give us life, real love unto others.

The triple measure of a Christian:

1- How others will now that we are Christians, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples" by what, Jesus?: Because we go to church?… because we know the Bible?… because we claim to have great faith?… no!, no!, no!, says Jesus… by this: "if you have love for one another" (Jn.13:35).

If an angel would come to earth looking for Christians, he would be looking for communities where they love each other… Christian: Do you love each other at home, at church, at work?… then you are a Christian!, the angel will find you… if not, then you are a bad Christian!, the angel will not find you.
    2-
Do you want to know yourself if you are a Christian?: John gives us the same measure, love! "We know that we have passed from death to life because we love one another. Whoever does not love remains in death" (1Jn.3:14) "love" is the only measure of "faith"… true faith in Christ transforms the person into love, like the fire transforms a coal into light and heat. If there is no love in your live, then Jesus is not in your heart. We can't measure "faith", but we can measure "love".
3- How God knows if we are Christians: By the same measure of "love". At the Last Judgment, He will not ask us if we went to church, or if were Christians or Muslims on Jews, or if knew all the Bible… he will simply say, "I was hungry and you feed me, thirsty and you gave me water… or the opposite to the bad Christian… read it yourself in full in Matt.25:31-46, one of the key pages of the Bible, or Jn.5:29, Rom.2:5-10, 2Cor.5:10, Rev.20:11-15… the only measure of God himself will be "love"… we will not go to Heaven because God gave us strong hands or a beautiful voice, or because he gave us the Bible or the gift of faith, but for what we did with those hands, and that voice, or with the knowledge of the Bible, or the gift of faith… We will not go to Heaven because the "gifts" of God, but because the "fruits" we had with those free gifts. The bigger the gift, the greatest the responsibility and the joy (Mt.24:14-30).
