A special chapter on the Eucharist, the most cherished treasure of Christianity. In the Host and the Wine there is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ... it is God Himself made more humble that in Bethlehem to be our daily bread... ... At Bethlehem Jesus looked like a child, he could not talk, had to be feed and cleaned; he was a baby, but he was God!... in the Eucharist is more humble, less that a man, less that an animal or a plant... he is just bread and wine, tastes to bread and wine, but he is really God, the same one as at Bethlehem... the real Jesus Christ of Calvary!. The Eternal Sacrifice: The Sacrifice of the Mass is the "eternal and
permanent sacrifice" of Num.28:1-6 and Ex.29:38-43: The Eucharist, the Perpetual Sacrifice, will be abolished when the "Antichrist" comes ( Mat.24:15, Dan.8:11, 9:27, 11:31, 12:11)... it is a pity that for many Christian churches, the Antichrist has already come (1Jn.4:3)... they already do not have the daily sacrifice, the regular burnt offering... no altar, no priest, no tabernacle... I don't know how the Jews can understand Psalm 2
when God says: "You are my son... you shall brake them with a rod of iron,
and shatter them in pieces like a potter's vessel" (Ps.2:7,9). The "Sermon of the Bread of Life": In John 6, Jesus repeated 8 times in different ways, "... unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood have eternal life. For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink..." (6:53-53)... This Sermon was the greatest scandal in the life of Jesus: The multitudes left him thinking he was crazy (6:41,52); the 72 disciples let him saying, "this saying is hard" (6:60,66)... out of the multitudes only the 12 were left, and to the 12 did not take out a word, it was real!; He only told them, "do you wish also to go away? (6:67)... ... And not only it was the greatest scandal in the life of Jesus, but there he signed his death, because "after this went about in Galilee; he did not wish to go to Judea because the Jews were looking for a chance to kill him" (7:1)... and they killed him!, the next time he went to Judea... Why?... what did Jesus said so they decide to kill him?... he told them the most horrendous thing a Jew could be told: "you have to drink my blood!"... and it was real!... and they killed him on a Cross!. Without discerning: Paul, commenting on Jn.6:53, says to the Christians: "many of you are weak, and ill, and some have died, because you eat and drink without discerning the body" (1Cor.11:29-30)... without "discerning"... like if it is a "symbol"!... or worth less than a million! Our Daily Bread The Bread of Life: Jesus is the "bread of life", says in John 6, "our daily bread", says in Matt.6:11, in the center of the Sermon of the Mount... don't you ever say you don't go daily to receive Him because you have no time, you will find the time if offered $1,000... or just $100... the problem in not "time", but "discerning"... do you think Jesus is worth more than a Million?... do you believe He is really in the Eucharist?... if you don't receive Him daily, discerning, don't complain if you feel weak, ill, or like death!, as Paul warns us. If your church offers you the Eucharist as a Symbol, but not as "real", that's not the Church of Jesus Christ... or if that church does not offer you the Eucharist daily, it is not the Church of Jesus. Calvary and Resurrection: The Holy Mass is a little like Psalm 22:
... In the Consecration, if the body and the blood are separated, there is a "sacrifice", the sacrifice of the New Covenant, the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ... as "real" as he was "real" as a little humble boy in Bethlehem, and as "real" as he was real as a despised man crucified at Calvary... and now, even more humble that at Bethlehem!... but he is the same Lord of the Universe... in Bethlehem, like a little humble boy; in the Eucharist, just like wine and bread!. This is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.(Mat.26:28). Institution of the Eucharist and of the Priesthood Christ's Only One Sacrifice: The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is not the repetition of what happened at Calvary, rather, it is the greatest miracle of God of time and space, it is exactly as if you were at Calvary on the first Good Friday of the history of humanity, the same sacrifice of Calvary done only once, because "Christ was offered once to bear the sins of mankind" (Heb.9:28)... we have to be at Mass just as if we were at Calvary on Good Friday with Mary and John. I like to hold my Rosary during Mass, to remind myself that I am with Mary at Calvary accompanying her, and to ask her to help me to understand and love the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Jesus Christ is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in His
Glorified Body in the Eucharist.
The Antichrist and the Eucharist: "The Abomination of Desolation" in Matthew 24:15-20: This is the time of the Coming of the Antichrist... and his very first work will be the abolition of the Eucharist! "When you see the Abomination of Desolation, of which Daniel spoke, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand)..." (Matt.24:15). When you go to "Daniel", he describes the horrors of this "Abomination" in 4 places: Daniel 8:11-17, 9:26-27, 11:31-32, 12:11. This Abomination refers to the abolition of the Eternal Sacrifice and the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem... but Daniel states that "the vision refers to the time of the End" (8:17), and Jesus himself refers us to it in Matt.24:15, and it will be the very first thing the Antichrist will do, the abolition of the Eucharist!, as reported here by Jesus. This "Abomination" in Daniel consists of 5 facts: 1- "Abolished the perpetual sacrifice" (Dan.8:11): And as a logical consequence, if there is no "sacrifice", there will be no "altar", and no "priests" to offer it... this is the main and most important feature, described by Daniel in his four descriptions of the Abomination in the Holy Place.2- "Threw down his sanctuary" (Dan.8:11). 3- "Shall destroy the city" (Dan.9:26). 4- "He magnified himself even to the prince of the host" (Dan.8:11).5- By his deceit he shall make some who were disloyal to the covenant apostatize (an.11:26). The reign of the Antichrist will last for 7 years, as described in Daniel 8:14 and Revelation 13:5: The "Abomination" will last for 3½ years, and the "Great Tribulation" for another 3½ years, or 42 months, or 1,260 days (Rev.13:5, 11:2-3, 12:5, Dan.12:11-12). John tells us that the Antichrist is already with us (1Jn.4:3), and Paul says that the Antichrist is already at work (1Thes.2:6-8).The Jews already have this Abomination: They have no sacrifice, no altar, no priests, no temple... as it was prophesied it will happen after the coming of the Messiah! ( Daniel 8:11-17, 9:26-27, 11:31-32, 12:11).For many Protestants this "Abomination" means very little, because they already do not have the "perpetual sacrifice", nor "sanctuary", nor "altar", nor "priests"... The Orthodox already do not have the "prince of hosts", nor "the city". Many Catholics may wonder how come the Holy Mass and priests could be abolished... but this already happened partially at the coming of Muhammad when there were 800 Christian bishops in Africa, among them St. Augustine, and in a few years there were reduced to just 5!... the "remnant" always mentions by Isaiah. And when Martin Luther came, in a few years millions of Christians were left without sacrifice, altar, and priests... So, this is what it will happened at the coming of the Antichrist during the Abomination of Desolation, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be abolished, and consequently there will be no need for altars nor priests to celebrate it... and, of course, a "remnant" will be left!. The "restrainer": "the one who holds back the Antichrist": St. Paul tells us twice what withholds the Antichrist to appear, in 2Thess.2:6,7... and that "restrainer", "the one who holds back the Antichrist", is Jesus in the Eucharist!... when the Sacrifice of the Holy Eucharist is abolished, the Antichrist will appear with full force!... right now, says Paul, the Antichrist, the mystery of iniquity is already at work, but restrained by the Eucharist, and his work will start in full when the Abomination of Desolation comes, when the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Altar and Priests will be taken away. This is how Paul say it in 2Thes.2:6-8:
The Immense Value of the Eucharist: - Only one Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is worth more "adoration" to God than all human beings prostrated for one year!, because it is Christ, God offered, with an infinite value!... I adore you my God. - Only one Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has more "thanksgiving" value than all the angels praising God for all eternity!... it is an infinity value of thanksgiving!... thank you, my sweet prisoner of Love. - Only one Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has more penitential value than all the monks of all times making penance at the same time!... praise be my Lord and my God, Jesus Christ... it is the main source to bring souls out of Purgatory - Only one Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has more value of "petition" to God than all humans and Angels and Saints praying together for a sick person!... it is God!... glory to you Jesus, my love and my all!. - Only one Holy Sacrifice of the Mass!... Thank you my Jesus for your excess of love. ...And now you can have it... free... go and receive Him... daily... discerning!... when the final Antichrist comes it will be very difficult to find it!. Now the Holy Mass is celebrated 500.000 times daily all over the world. When I went to Japan, I thought it would be difficult, and it came out very easy: Just across the Japanese Garden of the Hotel there was the Church of St. Francis Xavier. In all my trips abroad I have received the Eucharist daily: In Communist China, India, Africa, North, Central and South America, in Australia, in Communist Russia, Poland and Yugoslavia, and all Europe... it's so available, and so free!... let's receive Him daily... every day!... He is madly in love with us!... come, my sweet Jesus, live in me, be my daily bread, to nourish others with my crosses. Thank you my Love. Really Real!...Metanoia! The Most you can have on Earth... and in Heaven!... the Most God can Give! The Jesus of Bethlehem or at Calvary is exactly the same one who is in the Eucharist... a problem is that many people who met Jesus on earth didn't know he was God!... do you remember in Nazareth?: "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary?" (Mr.6:3)... ... What would you have done if you had met Jesus on earth, and you knew he was God?... well, the same Jesus is now in the Eucharist!... with the same body and blood and soul and divinity... he is God... in love with you... waiting for you!. Real is the word... really God!... the real presence of God Himself! God is love... and God is humility: At Bethlehem he looked like a baby, he could not talk nor walk... God could not walk!... he had to be fed and cleaned... and he was really God!... the only one God!... In the Eucharist is still more humble: He looks less than a human, less than an animal or a plant, he looks just like bread and wine... he tastes like bread and wine... and he is God!... really the only one God... the same one who created the universe, the one who gave you your hands and feet and heart, the one who gives you daily the air and sun and water, and the trees and mountains and the butterflies... all the scientists have been unable to make not even a leaf of a tree!... the Jesus Christ of the Eucharist made them all!. At Calvary he looked like a criminal... but he was God!... shedding his blood to save you and me. ... In the Eucharist is the same Jesus Christ... with the same love and suffering than at Calvary... he was at the Cross for 6 hours... in the Eucharist he is already for 2000 years!... loving you, waiting for you!... patiently... often abandoned and ignored, offended and even blasphemed by many... and His worst suffering is the lukewarm and indifference of those who claim to know Him!... God is in love with you!... madly in love with you!... he is waiting for you daily, like a good lover... let yourself be loved... go every day to receive Him in the Eucharist... He wants to be the our daily bread of Matt.6:11, and if we do not eat his flesh and do not drink his blood, we will not have life in ourselves (Jn.6:53, 1Cor.11:29-30)... ... God Himself is really in love with you!... whoever you may be!... "For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men" (1Cor.125)... Yes, Paul calls God "a fool", "a madman", when he sees Him at the Cross and in the Eucharist... and full of "weakness", when He makes Himself like a man or just like bread and wine... but a weakness stronger than the universe!... ... There, at the Cross and in the Eucharist is all you need in life, the solution of all your problems on earth, and the most God can give to you!... even God, being God, can not give you more than Himself made just bread and wine!... praise the Lord. Yes, Metanoia!
