The DNA of God?

Could human blood remnants that contain a man's DNA be traces of the blood of Jesus? Does it contain the DNA of God?

The DNA of God?, by Leoncio A. Garza-Valdes: It is the fascinating story of this microbiologist's journey of discovery and of the earthshaking secrets he has revealed about the Shroud of Turin.

Dr.Garza-Valdés, on page 120 states that blood remnants from the Shroud of Turin, from the areas of the left hand (taken by the STURP group in 1978) and from the occipital region (taken by Riggi in April 21, 1988) were tested with PCR for the presence of three gene segments:

1- Betaglobin gene.
2- Amelogenin-X gene.
3- Amelogenin-Y gene.

The testing was done at the PCR laboratory of the Department of Microbiology at the university of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, headed by Dr. Victor Tryon.

All three segments of the human genes tested were positive, indicating that the blood of the Man of the Shroud came from a human male.

The betaglobin gene from chromosome-11 was the first segment of DNA that was studied and cloned. It is the easiest gene to study, and the results were excellent: 268 base pairs (nucleotides) were found. The control used this cloning was HUMHBB221.
