Homosexuality Sodomy How to Heal Them

Homosexuality is the sexual preference for and sexual behavior between members of the same sex. "Gays", between man and man, and "lesbians" between woman and woman. In the Holiness Code of Leviticus is considered "an abomination" (Lev.18:22), and such behavior was punished by death, "If a man has intercourse with a man as with a woman, both commit an abomination. They must be put to death; their blood be on their own head" (Lev.20:13).
John Paul II distinguishes between "homosexual orientation" and "homosexual acts"; the "homosexual orientation" is not a sin, but "homosexual acts" are always a sin.
The New Testament mentions it as "shameful passions" and "perversion", "God has given them up to shameful passions. among them women have exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, and men too, giving up natural relations with women, burn with their lust for one another, males behave indecently with males, and are paid in their own persons the fitting wage of such perversion" (Rom.1:26-27).
The Bible does not recognize homosexuality as biologically constitutional, genetic, or hereditary, but sees its roots in the sinful nature of man, a psychosocial, learned behavior, expressing rebellion against God and calling for redemption. Such persons are responsible for their behavior. This is a very complex psychological problem with many possible roots or causes, calling for both Christian compassion and God's redemptive power through the Gospel.
Number one, we should never judge anyone else (Matt.7: 1-4). Number two, Jesus can deliver us from any sin and any vice or iniquity. At Calvary he paid for both, for all our sins, and for the factories to make sins, for our iniquities or vices, as described by Isaiah 53:4-5. Any time you and I commit a sin, we should go immediately to Confession, up to seventy times seven, always!… always trust in the Lord!… and God will deliver us at its due time, for the Israelites took 430 years to be delivered from the Egyptian slavery!.
Sodomy, from Sodom, means a man who has sexual relations with another man. It comes from the episode of Genesis 19, when the two messengers of Yahweh are received as guests by Lot, the men of Sodom attempt to assault them sexually, preferring the two men even to the two virgin daughters of Lot, boasting about their sexual orientation and desires... and Sodom was destroyed by a rain of fire and sulphur from the heavens (Gn.19:24).
The story of Sodom and Gomorrah was deeply imbedded in Israelite tradition: It becomes a proverbial example as the extreme of depravity, not only for the sexual orientation, but for boasting about it (Dt.32:32, Is.1:10, Jer.23:14, Ezk.16:46-56, Mt.10:15, 11:23, Lk.10:12, Apc.11:8). And it also becomes a proverbial example of the anger and judgment of Yahweh (Dt.29:22f, Is.1:9, Jer.20:16, 49:18, 50:40, Lam.4:6, Am.4:11, Zp.2:9, Lk.17:29, 2Pt.2:6, Jd.7).
But there is another sin much worse than homosexuality, and that is "prostitution against God", to go after Baal and trust in him, or trust to money, or power, or glory, instead of trusting in God… this is the worse sin along the Bible, the sin we most often commit, and the one we usually don't confess!. Please, look at "Prostitution", and most of the above Bible quotations, "Truly I tell you, on the Day of Judgement it will be more bearable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town… as for you, Capernaum… it will be more bearable for Sodom on the Day of Judgment than for you" (Mt.10:15, 11:23)... and every time we sin, "we crucify again the Son of God and hold him up to mockery" (Heb.6:6).
Follow the instructions of the Bible for any Sickness or Bad Habit:
1- Ecclesiasticus 38:9-15 (the Book of "Jesus the son of Sirach
of Jerusalem", "Jesus Ben-Sirach").
This book is a practical one, like Proverbs, but larger, 51 chapters,
and it is usually not in the Protestant Bibles.
9- My son, in thy sickness do not get
impatient, but pray to the Lord, and he shall heal thee.
10- Turn away from sin and order thy hands
aright, and cleanse thy heart from all offence.
11- Give a sweet sacrifice, and a memorial of
fine flour, and make a fat offering, and then give place to the physician.
12- For the Lord created him: and let him not
depart from thee, for his works are necessary.
2- James 5:14-16:
14- Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church
to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.
15- And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the
Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.
16- Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other
so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
So, what to do if you are Homosexual?:
1- Do not get impatient, trust in the Lord... always, always, trust in God, in Jesus (Ecc.38:8).
2- Pray to the Lord, and He shall heal you!... that's a great
promise!... and the first prayer should be of thanks-giving, giving thanks for your
problem of homosexuality!... because we have to give thanks to God for every thing and in
all circumstances (Eph.5:20, 1Thes.5:16-18). (Ecc.38:8).
In this promise, "He shall heal you", does not mention the
time nor the way: He may heal you today, or in 5 years?... but He will heal you!... and it
does not mention it is going to be with a miracle, that will be great, but the
extra-ordinary, the ordinary way is that Jesus will use other people to help you... that's
the usual way, He always used Abraham, Moses, Davis, Peter, Paul... you... me... praise
the Lord!.
3- Call the elders of the Church, and let them pray over you, and anoint you with oil in the name of the Lord...and the prayer of faith will make you well, and will rise you up!... that's a big promise of Jam.5:15, alleluia!
4- Make a good Confession of Sins: "Turn away from sin and
order thy hands aright, and cleanse thy heart from all offence." (Ecc.38:10)...
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be
healed." (Jam.5:16)...
Confess all your sins, but most specially the sins of rancor,
resentment, hatred, grudge... because if we don't forgive others, we can't even pray the
Our Father where we ask God to forgive us the way we forgive others (Mat.6:12-15).
And every time you commit a sin of homosexuality, Confess it!... 20
times?... 20 million times!... don't you ever be ashamed to Confess your sin... Trust in
Jesus, he is always waiting for you!.
5- Offer the Holy Mass, "Give a sweet sacrifice, and a memorial of fine flour, and make a fat offering" (Ecc.38:11)... the only memorial we have in Christianity is the Holy Mass, to offer the Father the Lamb of God, Jesus crucified and risen, praise the Lord!.
6- Get in touch with someone that may help you, specially in your
church... most of the times the problem will not be solved by a miracle, rather it will be
healed by God, but using the good care and compassion of some other person...
... but always, always, trust in God... God is omnipotent, and thus has
the power to change a person's sexual orientation, God has promised to answer the sincere
prayers of a believer... you can do it with Jesus Christ!, praise the Lord!.
