Prayer of His Holiness Juan Paul II
in preparation for the Great Jubilee
Holy Spirit, sweet host of the soul,
give us the deep meaning of the Great Jubilee,
and prepare our spirit to celebrate it,
in the hope that doesn't fail,
in the charity that Expects no reward.
Come, Spirit of truth,
you who knows the depth of God,
memory and prophecy of the Church,
lead humanity to recognize in Jesus of Nazareth
the Lord of glory, the Savior of the world,
the culmination of history. Amen.
